KYN28 Electrical MV Switchgear Power Distribution System High Voltage Switchgear
The KYN28-12(GZS1) armoured, withdrawable AC metal-enclosed switchgear combines an advanced, compact and well-engineered structure with reliable performance and safe operation. It incorporates a comprehensive "five-prevention" safety interlocking system. The switchgear is designed for 3-12kV single-busbar and sectionalised single-busbar power systems.
It is particularly well suited to locations where critical loads are switched frequently and regular operating actions are required, including power plants, airports, substations, petrochemical and metallurgical facilities, and residential developments. Its primary functions are the reception and distribution of electrical energy, together with circuit control, protection and monitoring.

The switchgear can be supplied with ZN63A (VS1), VD4, ZN21, 3AH or VEP vacuum circuit breakers, and can also be configured with VC7 vacuum contactors, load break switches and isolators. The cubicle enclosure provides an IP4X degree of protection. The unit comprises two main assemblies: the cubicle and the withdrawable truck. The cubicle is manufactured from aluminium-zinc coated steel sheet and is compartmentalised with metal partitions.
