A water mist system is a fire protection technology that utilizes extremely fine water sprays. These micro-droplets allow the system to control, suppress, and extinguish fires through three primary mechanisms:
The effectiveness is determined by spray characteristics, including droplet size distribution and spray density, optimized for specific fire scenarios and ventilation conditions.
System Components: Consists of a water reservoir, high-pressure pump group, control panel, pressure switches, specialized nozzles, partition control valves, fire detectors, and remote control modules.
Working Logic: Under standby mode, the pipe pressure is maintained at 1.0~1.2 MPa. If pressure drops below 1.0 MPa, the stabilizing pump activates. For fire suppression, the system can be triggered via seven methods including fire alarm controllers, manual buttons, mechanical emergency handles, and remote terminals.
